In this section a look will be taken at the role of the press and the news surrounding the Plough forgeries. Although the role of the press has largely been positive – with their critical notes regarding the Altink Affairs – there is apparent chaos in the reporting. This chaos is largely due to Cor van L.’s disruptive role.
